CONCEPT
Measured Presence
Originally executed as Tecnomar M/Y Zahraa and now known as M/Y Shadow, the interiors were conceived as an exercise in control rather than display. CELI’s approach privileges compositional balance, surface continuity, and material precision, translating the yacht’s bold exterior language into an interior environment defined by restraint and depth.
The project explores the tension between strength and refinement, where solidity is softened through rhythm, proportion, and calibrated detailing. Each space is designed to feel composed and enduring, capable of supporting daily life on board without visual noise.
INTERIORS & MATERIALS
Surface, Structure, Sequence
The interiors are articulated through continuous joinery systems that integrate walls, ceilings, and fixed furnishings into a coherent architectural whole. Wood surfaces are treated as structural elements rather than decorative layers, anchoring the spaces with warmth, density, and tactile consistency.
Metal inserts and textured panels introduce a controlled contrast, carefully aligned to reinforce linearity and depth without disrupting visual calm. Grain direction, junctions, and finishes are rigorously managed, ensuring continuity across large surfaces and bespoke details alike.
The result is an interior language in which materials do not compete for attention, but work in concert—supporting durability, comfort, and long-term use with quiet authority.
