CONCEPT
Interior Calm Shaped by Sailing
Admiral S/Y Gigreca is conceived as a sailing yacht in which interior architecture responds to the specific rhythms and conditions of life under sail. The concept privileges balance, containment and stability, favouring spaces that support concentration, quiet and continuity while underway.
Within this framework, CELI was entrusted with the execution of the interiors, translating the design intent into environments capable of maintaining composure in motion. Unlike motor yachts, where scale and openness often dominate, Gigreca calls for interiors that are inwardly focused, measured and structurally grounded.
The result is an interior vision aligned with the discipline of sailing: restrained, precise and attentive to long-term comfort rather than spectacle.
INTERIORS
Enclosed Volumes and Functional Continuity
The interiors of Admiral S/Y Gigreca are organised as compact, well-defined volumes, where every element is designed to support use at sea. Circulation is direct, spaces are clearly articulated, and furnishings are integrated to ensure stability and ease of movement in all conditions.
CELI’s execution is evident in the precision of fixed cabinetry, desks, shelving and storage units, all conceived as part of the yacht’s architectural structure. Surfaces and volumes are continuous, avoiding fragmentation and reinforcing a sense of enclosure and control.
Lighting is discreet and functional, calibrated to enhance material presence without disrupting visual calm. The interiors favour proximity and tactility, creating environments that feel secure, personal and purposefully composed.
